These files were edited using Sim Package Editor (SimPE) & were fully tested & found to work with no problems in my own game as well as others', but be advised that the programs used for editing Sims 2 files are works-in-progress so there is no guarantee that they will not damage your system and/or game. Therefore, u use them at your own risk & as always, should back up your game before installing anything new.
Also as u may already know, some of the objects in the game have only one color option (for example the "Peace of Garbage Can"). In order to create more colors for these objects, I used the Color Enabler Package(CEP). U must also have this package installed if u want to use the objects edited this way in your game. Without it installed, u will not see any more colors for the object...only the original (defualt) color.
The CEP is a self-installing .exe file which when clicked will add two files to your game: a .package file named _EnableColorOptionsGMND will be placed in your Downloads folder & another .package file named _EnableColorOptionsMMAT will be placed in your The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Sims3D folder. These files do not change your game files in any way & can be removed at any time.

Please be sure to check for updates & fixes to the CEP (especially when a new expansion is released.)

next to the name of the object.** With the CEP installed, u can just download, install & use the objects as usual.
